Hello Everyone,
I have had a lot of people calling or e-mailing me about an online web store that is selling EPIC KITES at very cheap prices. A word of warning, we don't know who this company is, and they are not an authorized dealer of ours. We have sent them few emails to remove the Epic product from their page but they have not respond to any of our emails.
They are out of India and have registered this in Australia. They look to be mostly serving Asia customers and they are hiding behind some third party registration for the domain name.
We highly doubt that the products are legitimate. Please be aware because we have had few customers paying for their orders and not receiving it. This is their web site:
So please be careful from where you are ordering your EPIC kites.
Thank you for your time.

PDCK Instructor become WAINMAN HAWAII Team Rider!!

We would like to congrat Dylan for being now part of the WAINMAN HAWAII Team, here is a little about him:

Please present yourself, tell us a bit about you?

My name is Dylan Shewfelt. I was born in Canada on November 28th in 1991. I was relocated to Mexico at the age of nine. Started snowboarding in Canada when i was 4 and later continued in Colorado throughout high-school. In 2009 i moved back to Mexico and having a lack of snow I had to look for something else then snowboarding to keep myself challenged. Thats how I came to discover and practice kiteboarding in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

How and when did you get involved in the Kiteboarding industry?

After my first beginner lesson the kiteschool offered me a job, which I was more than happy to take. I could easily say that I didnt leave the beach since then. Even the thought of missing out on some wind makes me nervous. From the beginning my passion for kiting overgrew everything and felt more than natural to live that lifestyle day-by-day. Since then I teach and train during the winter seasons in Playa del Carmen with PDC Kiteboarding School( at the Sandos Playacar Resort and discover new spots around the world in the off-season. Making sure that I kite as much as my body can take and a little bit more...

What are your last accomplishments?

In the last 3 years i have been improving a lot and receiving compliments for my riding and style on the water.
I also had the opportunity to participate in the Freestyle competition of the PKRA 2012 in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
Recently becoming a Team Rider for Wainman Hawaii( and Mobekitewear, and i thank them for believing and supporting me.
