Isla Blanca #1. 2011/2012 Kiteboarding season!!!!

First successful Isla Blanca excursion with PDC Kiteboarding! Thanks to Ikarus for having us and allow us to share this beautiful day together! We ll be back on monday!!

Isla Blanca Kiteboarding Event.

Ikarus Kiteboarding could finaly make the main Kiteboarding Event of the Riviera Maya happen, today at Isla Blanca Kite camp.
All the best Riders of the area were presents with friends and family to participate to the "Isla Blanca Kiteboarding" competition.
Also the differents Kiteboarding School of the Riviera Maya were present to participate and support this event:
From Tulum area, Extrem Control.
From Playa del Carmen area, PDC Kiteboarding.
And organizing this event, Isla Blanca, IKARUS Kiteboarding.

Isla Blanca Kiteboarding Trip Report #2

Isla Blanca Kiteboarding Excursion with PDC Kiteboarding.

As always we were chasing the best wind conditions to make the best of the day

for our students and Riders.

Isla Blanca Kite Camp is our favourite spot for those North Wind, el "Norte", with this huge shallow flat salt water Lagoon.

This is all about fun and friends so we love to visit our friends from IKARUS Kiteboarding and share with them those perfect conditions.

It takes us only 1 hour and 20 min to get to Isla Blanca from our local Kiteboarding School in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

As you can see, no space limitation and the best comfort with our Isla Blanca Monster Truck that can take up to 12 Riders and all Equipement!!!

What a great day at Isla Blanca Kite Camp!!!
PDC Kiteboarding took Joel & Mike from Canada for a full day excursion to Isla Blanca Lagoon where they could achieve their IKO Level 3 certification and have a blast!!!!
Isla Blanca is about 1 hour and 20 minutes north of Playa del Carmen, just passing Cancun!
Arriving around 9am, the wind was about 15/17 knots, then slowly got stronger to end up being around 25 knots at the end of the day.
The Eclipse Nano 9m did the job for the whole day!
Also Joseph could finally try his brand new toy....the Wainman Hawaii Smoke 9m and get some huge air!!!!

Looks like the last North wind here in Mexico!

Isla Blanca Kite Camp was again....perfect!

Start slowly during the morning, riding with

11m/14m/.

Water temperature: Warm...super warm!

Air temperatire: Same....

Then around 2.30pm/3pm,...

riding with 6m/9m. ....14m and short lines for gerry,jeje.

Nice way to finish the season.
