Coco Beach Kiteboarding Zone

The sign with rules and Kitesurfing area map for Coco Beach Zone has been installed!
The area is located about 300 meters north of the Gran Coco Bay Resort, on the north beach of Playa del Carmen.
This is an area reserved for EXPERIENCED/INDEPENDENT RIDERS only!!!
It is strickly forbidden teaching or being taught on the beach!!!
Please keep the kites the closest to the back fence to leave the traffic free, launch and land wit the help of someone.
While riding, keep a minimum of 30 meters from the shore.
Don t jump or do tricks close to shore.
Respect the other beach users and crafts!

Stormy Wind!!!!!!!!!!!

That was a serious storm passing by Coco Beach, Playa del Carmen, Mexico, this afternoon!
Start with a perfect Side shore wind, pretty consistent wind, then slowly turned north and....offshore!

Hi Mickey,
Hope all is ok in Play and in surroundings and the "Swine flu" is not causing too much damage :) I would like to thank you for all the good trainng that you provided to me and Julius in April at Playa. Last week I was able to go out and try it out in Normandy .. Close to Wissant. There were about 100 windsurfers and kitesurfers in the windy sea. Great fun… but for me a bit rough because the waves were about 2,5 meters… so my waterstart did not yet work. Here are some pictures from April
